Everytime I have to cut Hardi-Back Cement Board, I want to die... I've used the scoring method (which takes forever especially if you're just trying to trim an inch or two off)... I've used saws with Fiber board blades, which work great if you can handle the huge amount of dust and thus the added extra cleanup... A few weeks ago, once again I found myself having to cut cement Board... When I was done, I swore to myself I'd find a better way... I started looking on Amazon and eventually came across these Shears (Which I had no idea even existed or I would have bought them years ago)... I received them just in time to make a few more cuts for hardi-backer going into a shower... I actually found myself laughing... One because it was such a pleasure to use and the other cause I felt so dumb not knowing about these along time ago... I haven't put these Dewalt Shears to the test yet, but the feel and the power of these shears definatley feel heavy duty and I suspect they will last as long as I do... $200 will come and go that fast, but the convinience and speed of these Dewalt cutters will last for years... Don't think - Just do it... You won't be sorry!!!
