Customer Review: Expensive but worth the cost

These batteries seem to last forever on a single charge. I don't use them daily,(probably about once a week) but when I do use them, I use them fairly hard for a couple hours cutting plywood and 2X's, driving 3" screws, 8" timberlock screws and using the drilling 1/4 inch holes and 5/16 inch holes in concrete for anchors. I go so long between charges, I often can't remember the last time any particular battery was last charged. If a stand=by battery does sit on the shelf for weeks or even months without being used, it still has what seems to be near a full charge when it is picked up to be used; unlike the Ni-Cad batteries that seem to go dead after a month or more of not being used. One trait that takes a bit of getting used to, when the battery is drained, it just stops with little warning. Unlike the Ni-Cad that begins to slow down as it is nearing the end of its charge, the Nano battery will work like it is fully charged on one screw and then stop before the next screw is fully driven. With the stand-by battery holding its charge so well as mentioned earlier and the quick charging of the discharged battery, this isn't really a problem.
