Needed an extra set of batteries for the Dewalt 18 v. line. These are smaller, lighter, (not an aesthetic fit however) and fully power my entire line of the 18 v tools. Run time about the same, but no fall off in power or life. For some of the heavier tools this is quite a blessing. Needs a Li compatable charger, however. Will try the full size Li battery next time I need one for comparison.
